What To Expect During Our Worship Assembly
Our weekly Congregational Worship Assembly takes place every Sunday at 9:30a.m.
It is our desire to praise God and glorify Him through our congregational worship. The whole church comes together for worship on Sunday morning. At the morning assembly we sing and pray together, listen to readings from God's word, and participate in what is called the Lord's Supper or communion. In addition, our members participate in a financial offering to support the ministries of the Cedars church. It is an act of gratitude to God and in support of doing good for others. Our guests are not expected to contribute during this time but you are welcome to do so if you wish to show your appreciation for what God has done for you.
The worship service includes a sermon presented by our minister. At some point in the service, usually at the end of the sermon, an invitation is extended for those who have a spiritual need, want to become a follower of Christ or a member of this local congregation of Christ followers, the Cedars Church of Christ.
We currently offer members of our Hispanic community translation services for Sunday's morning worship.
